Every great story starts small. Ours began in a tiny Slovak village, in what was basically a garage. Bloomdi wasn’t a corporate idea from day one it was a handful of people with a love for music, helping a few local artists get their tracks out into the world. One artist was on CD Baby, another on DistroKid, a third on Rebeat. It wasn’t perfect, but it was passionate, hands-on work that built the foundation for what Bloomdi is today.
As our experience grew, so did our reach. Soon, we were managing nearly thirty Czech and Slovak artists across six different distribution platforms. That’s when we realized: Slovakia deserved its own professional digital distributor. So we made the leap. Contracts were signed, software was built, and what started as a small garage operation became a serious business. Not huge. Not impersonal. But professional, precise, and personal.

We intentionally stayed small. Bloomdi isn’t about having thousands of artists on the platform. We focus on working with creators who plan ahead and build functional teams around themselves. Artists are naturally creative and often thrive in chaos — and that’s exactly what makes their work magical in the studio. Our role is to help organize that chaos: turning creativity into a plan, making sure releases are structured, and guiding the business side so that the music can reach the audience it deserves. We try to teach their teams that one thing is creativity and the artist’s studio work, and another is the organization and planning needed to turn that creative energy into success.
After fifteen years of building a strong local presence, we decided to test ourselves on the global stage. Four years ago, we stepped beyond Slovakia and achieved significant success with Czech singer Mikolas. That experience proved something we’ve always believed: even from a garage in a small Slovak town, world-level success is possible.
What drives us is simple. We love helping artists grow, helping them be seen, and giving them the tools to reach audiences they never imagined. Bloomdi isn’t just a distributor. We are a partner, a guide, and a platform that supports creators who take their craft seriously.

That’s why Bloomdi works. That’s why artists stay. And that’s why we’re proud to say: we do things differently, and we do them right.
